Traditionally, African Black Soap has been used in West Africa, specifically Ghana and Nigeria to treat acne, oily skin and blemishes. This is the result of the potash that gives the soap its black colour.

Our authentic African Black Soap is gentle and mild. Our black soap is an “all in one” option for cleaning, ideal for face, shaving, to help fight eczema and psoriasis. shampooing and as a general hand and body wash for all ages.

Raw African Black Soap is generally made with plantain skins, a good source of Vitamins A and E as well as Iron. It is rich in Vitamin E which is an antioxidant to help your skin retain its health and moisture. Vitamin A helps to keep your skin young and will fight wrinkles as well as blemishes. Iron will help to strengthen your skin and hair. A little goes a long way with this product.

Dampen face and hands with warm water. Apply cleanser to hands and work into a lather. Gently massage into the skin in a circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry use favourite toner and nourishing skin moisturiser.
